Super Simple One Layer Note Card Set

Today I am sharing a super simple one-layer note card set that you can make quickly without much thought and that you can have on hand for various occassions.  The great thing about this set is that it is easy to put together both feminine and masculine cards using the same stamps!

Here's a picture of the 5 cards I made using this design.  You can see that the colors vary slightly but the same design and layout remain consistent.  I made these cards after making the create cards & that I shared in this post.

Let's take a look at the individual cards from the set.

For all of the cards I used the same stamp for the colored borders which is from one of my favorite Catherine Pooler stamps Eat, Sleep, Create.  As I stamped the borders and the colors overlapped it created new colors!  I love how they blend together!  For this card I used mostly Zen Colored inks with some Paradise Found inks mixed in, all from the Spa Collection of inks. 

Top Row: Juniper Mist, Stone Blue, Sauna

Bottom Row: Daydream, Sauna, Polished, Seafoam, Spruce, Skylight

In this card you can see that I stamped the Doodle Garden background in VersaMark ink on top of the stripes for a little added texture and interest.

Top Row: Skylight, Seafoam, Sugared Lavender

I love how these ink colors coordinate.  Even though the top has a more masculine color theme, paired with the pink at the bottom it turned out more feminine.
