Release Day! with Catherine Pooler's Welcome Home

I wanted to share a few details on this card so I am posting on my blog as well!

Hey There Awesome
My favorite stamp set from this new release is called Marble Swirl. As I shared yesterday, I don't have anything like it in my stash so it has been so much fun to work with!

For this card I wanted it to be colorful and full of sparkle!  The Marble Swirl stamp set comes with 3 main images that fit together to make the swirl.  Using my Misti, I stamped several colors of ink on the three main pieces.  After they were stamped, I then stamped over them with VersaMark (this was easy to do using the Misti to line the images up) and then embossed them with my favorite embossing powder glitter Wanderlust.  The ink colors I used are: Tiki Torch, Tiara, Rockin' Red, Party Dress, Fiesta Blue, Mardi Gras, Flirty Fuchsia.

Here you can see how the card just sparkles like crazy!  I love it!  I cut the panel apart at an angle and stamped "awesome" from the new Awesome & Wonderful Stamp set.  I popped the two panels up with dimensional tape and then adhered the "Hey There" sentiment from the Ways to Say Hey dies, die cut with Midnight cardstock.
