Hey There!

Did you already check out the latest Welcome Home release from Catherine Pooler Designs?  I love it!! The last two cards I shared on my blog used my favorite stamp set from the release because it is so different than anything else I had in my stash.  Hopefully you aren't tired of the Marble Swirl stamp set because I still have several more cards to share with it soon here on my blog! 😀

New Mini Inks
One thing that I have failed to mention is that there are new mini inks available from the Carnivale collection!  Yippee!!  You can grab yours here.

Hey There

This was the very first card I made using the Marble Swirl stamp set.  I knew I wanted to use a different color combination than what I usually use and I wanted to incorporate gold.  When I look at the marble pictures there is often a vein running through that is gold and so in the card I tried to replicate that to some degree.

I first started by stamping the background.  The ink colors I used for the main panel are Polished & Bellini.  I stamped the upper right hand quadrant in VersaMark and then used Fool's Gold Glitter Embossing Powder to add the gold glitter.  I also took a embossing pen and traced some of the marble lines and then embossed those with the glitter embossing powder as well.  

This card has the same layout as the one I shared the other day here.  I cut the panel at a diagonal and stamped in the negative space the swirl first in Mint to Be ink and then I moved the stamp slightly and stamped again in Daydream.  The sentiment is die cut from gold cardstock with the Ways to Say Hey dies.
