And to celebrate, how about a cheery rainbow card!?

I stamped the rainbow arches using the lovely Smile Bright Stamps and then die cut them with the on-sale Friday - Monday evening coordinating dies, Smile Bright Dies. I popped each of those pieces up with foam tape.  I stamped the black spotted background with the Wild Thing Background and then die cut it and the scalloped layer with the Scallops & Dots Dies.  The sentiment is from the Abundantly Blessed Sentiments Stamp Set.  

The ink colors I used for the rainbow are Pucker Up, Serenade, Cummerbund and Limoncello Ink.  I also added some sequins from the Crater Lake Mix.

God Doesn't Fail + Spring Garden Release from Catherine Pooler Day 2

Hello and welcome to my little corner of the internet!  Today I'm sharing a card made with new products from the upcoming Spring Garden Release from Catherine Pooler Designs.  

The shop opens with all of the new goodies on Wednesday, March 10 at 9 AM EST but if you are a StampNation member you get to shop early today at Noon EST!

Yesterday I shared a card on my blog and said that I made two cards from the pieces.  So today I'm sharing how I used some of those left over pieces to create this card using the Peony in Bloom Cover Plate Die.

For yesterday's card I had blended Sangria Ink on a piece of white cardstock for the peony and then I blended Seafoam and Spruce ink for the stem & leaves.  Since I used the inside pieces on the other card I used the outline of the flower for this card.  

I used liquid glue to adhere the bloom to the cardstock.  I used a piece of colored cardstock from my stack but you could also use Aquatini or All that Jazz Ink to make a beautiful blended background for this card as well.  

I personally absolutely love this sentiment and might have bought this stamp set just to have it!  The sentiment comes from the Abundantly Blessed Sentiments Stamp Set.  On this card I embossed it on white.
