One Plus One Release Day! + Good Things are Going to Happen!

Yay! It's release day for the new One Plus One collection from Catherine Pooler Designs!  New products go live in the store at 9 AM ET this morning!

Today, I have one more sneak peek for you using this collection.

This card is so fun!  When I first saw this stamp from the new Born to Be Wild Stamp Set I knew I'd have to color a lion with a rainbow mane (and I have a rainbow zebra card I'll share at some point as well!).  I experimented with a few different ways to do this and this gave me by far the best results.  I first die cut the lion out with the Born to Be Wild Dies.  Then, I used only the outline stamp (that you see stamped in black ink) from the Born to Be Wild Stamp Set and stamped it onto the die cut shape.  I colored the lion's mane with Copic markers using a flicking motion (you could also use a blender brush and color with your CP Inks). I colored the body & the face & tail with copics as well.  

I die cut the Good Things Mini Cover Plate Die out of white cardstock 3 times and then stacked the letters and the "things" word adhering them together with Bearly Art Glue.  I used the lion as one of my "O's".  I attached those letters and the frame on top of a piece of white cardstock I had die cut with the new Polka Dot Cover Plate Die.  I also embossed the rest of the sentiment onto vellum, attached that to white cardstock and attached it to the frame with dimensional foam tape.  The whole panel was adhered to a piece of striped rainbow paper from the Totally Rad Patterned Paper Pack.
