NEW Scripture Stamp Set

Today kind of a cool thing happened!  I have been guest designing for Frantic Stamper after taking a few years off from being on their design team and Fran let me design a Scripture stamp set and it released TODAY!  It is called simply, "Scriptures" and you can find it here. 

I am always looking for a Scripture stamp set that isn't too big, isn't too scripty and will fit well as a sentiment on a card.  I also wanted a set that would use verses that I would actually send to someone.  Sometime the verses that I see in stamp sets I'm not always sure who I would send something that said that to.  So I designed this one with all of those things in mind.  Now granted, I mostly played with fonts because I can't draw, but I did put those tiny little mountains together (made to fit on top of the "Faith can move mountains sentiment which I show you at a later time). :)

So I thought it would be fitting to share a card made with my favorite Bible verse which inspired this entire set.

Isaiah 49:16 says, "I have called you by name, you are mine."

So to put this card together I first stamped the Bible verse from the Scriptures Stamp Set onto a piece of vellum and embossed it in white. I attached that to a piece of cardstock that was die cut & then paper pieced with a rainbow of colors using the new Gradient Stripe Card Panel.  I used alphabet dies from the Brooklyn Alphabet Die Set to create the "Sadie" and I cut each one 3 times and glued them together for a little dimension.  I added some sequins to match to finish the card off.

I also designed 1/2 of a second set that you'll see more of later on my blog.  I designed the watercolor brush strokes in the set, called Thankful & Highlight Brushstrokes.

The brushstrokes in this set fit over some of the words in the Scripture set so that you can highlight certain words.  Like this:
