And just in case you haven't heard yet, there are 4 beautiful, new inks releasing on Wednesday in the Catherine Pooler Ink line! They are such beautiful colors! I have a couple of posts comparing these new ink colors to previously released colors here & here.
I have another Puffin card to share with you today using the new Puffin Party Stamp Set. It also uses a new slimline die, called Cleo, too!
To create the background for this card, I die cut the new Cleo Slimline Die from white scrap cardstock and then taped it to my card front so it wouldn't move. I used Tranquil, Cove Blue, Bay Breeze & Sea Glass for the water and moved the homemade stencil up as I ink blended. When I got a little over halfway to the middle of the card, I stopped and then used a previously released stencil, Twisted Sunburst, with Tiara Ink, to create the sunshine on the top part of the card. I ink blended some Tiara ink onto a scrap piece of cardstock and then die cut it with one of the small circles in the Circles Dies set and then mounted it on the card as the center of the sun using foam dimensional.
The sentiment panel is created with one of the tags in the Layered Tags Die Set and then I used one of the borders in the Morning Joe Dies Set to create the zig zag stitched edge. The sentiment is from the Puffin Party Stamp Set.
I stamped the Puffin with the new Puffin Party Stamps and then die cut with the coordinating Puffin Party Dies. I colored him using Copics for the gray areas and for his beak I used Orange Peel, Tiara and Bay Breeze for his beak.
I made a little beach, to go with the sentiment, tearing a piece of Kraft cardstock and then adding the little items from the same stamp set in Tiara, Rouge and Sangria Inks.
