It's my favorite time of the month! Time for another Catherine Pooler Release!
This is a mini release called Waves of Happiness and it includes some of the cutest sea creatures! Today we'll meet the Puffins! But first, some details.
The new Waves of Happiness Release from Catherine Pooler Designs will go live in the shop on Wednesday morning, May 12th at 9 AM EST. Or, if you are a StampNation member you get early access to shop on Tuesday, May 11th at 12 EST. I don't want to skip over the fact that there are 4 gorgeous new ink colors coming to the store with this release! They are so gorgeous and make the perfect colors for all of the beach themed projects you might find yourself working on this summer!

Now let's get onto the Puffins!
This was such a fun card to put together using the super cute and new Puffin Party Stamp Set and coordinating Puffin Party Dies! I die cut, stamped and colored all 3 of the Puffins from the stamp set. I colored these with Copic markers.
To make rock cove I die cut the new Rocky Cove Die twice. One in a lighter gray cardstock and once with a darker gray cardstock from my stash. I then cut out the lighter gray piece and used foam tape to pop it up for dimension.
The sentiment is from the Critter Crew Stamp Set & Thoughtful Phrases Stamp Set. The bubble was cut with a die from the Critter Crew Die Set.
I took a
piece of vellum and blended Sea Glass & Bay Breeze inks
onto it and then tore it to make it look like the puffin was swimming! I
attached it with vellum adhesive.
The background was made by blending Do-Si-Do, Polished, Sea Glass, Bay Breeze, Tranquil & Cove Blue onto Premium White Cardstock and then die cutting each piece with the Mod Strips Cover Plate Die and then layering those pieces onto the card front.
