Slimline Christmas Puppy Joy

Greetings!  I wanted to share another card with you from the latest Jolly Holiday release from Catherine Pooler Designs. This release included some cool new Slimline products (adding to the other fun Slimline products already in the shop.  You can see all of the Slimline products here. 

In the Slimline collection you will find paper, stencils, dies & envelopes in several colors, including the standard white.  Be sure to check them all out!  

I used the new Doodle Window Slimline Die to create this card.  It's fun because around each circle there are embossed doodles (you can see this better in the close up photos below).

For the sentiment I used the Caroling Sentiments Stamp Set and stamped it in Deck the Halls Ink. I then added in a little more color using images from the same set stamped in Cranberry Fizz, Suede Shoes, Sauna & Tiara Inks.  

I thought that this little pup, stamped with Black Jack ink, with the Santa hat, from the Peeking Pets Stamp Set, made the perfect little character to be peeking out of this card saying hello!  I colored his hat with Cranberry Fizz Ink & a blender pen.  I also added foam tape (twice thick) to the top of the hat so that it created extra dimension to make it look like he was peeking out of the hole.
