Have you heard that there are two new ink colors and a new release called Jolly Holiday coming to the Catherine Pooler shop on Wednesday, September 16th? Yay!! The new ink colors are perfect jewel tones for Christmas called Deck the Halls & Cranberry Fizz. New products are linked in this post but will not go live in the store until shopping time. The release goes live in the shop on Wednesday, September 16th at 9 AM Eastern or StampNation members get to shop early at Noon EST on Tuesday, September 15th.
Here's a look at how these colors compare to previously released colors. I know I also like having a visual to see the comparison and I hope this helps you too!
The new Cranberry Fizz ink color is on top. You can see how much darker it is than the Peppermint Scrub ink.
The new Deck the Halls ink color is on top. It is also quite a bit darker than Spruce.
The new ink colors will be available for purchase on Wednesday at 9 AM Eastern.
First up is a sneak peek using a few new products including the Jolly Trees Stamp Set.
This has a classic Christmas card feel to it using the new ink colors. I first stamped the trees from the Jolly Trees Stamp Set using the new Cranberry Fizz ink, Deck the Halls ink & Sage Ink. I then die cut the trees with the coordinating Jolly Trees Dies and cut off the stems. To emboss those dots in gold I used a glue pen and added glue to the dots and then poured Wow Pearl Gold Embossing Glitter on top and then heat set it. It worked like a charm!
I stamped the new, gorgeous sentiment from the Deck the Halls Stamp Set with Cranberry Fizz ink on a piece of cardstock that I had die cut with one of the dies from the Postage Stamp Die Set. I stamped the holly from the same stamp set in Deck the Halls ink & Sage Ink (I sponged the Deck the Halls ink on top of the Sage ink with a sponge finger dauber.) The berries are stamped with Cranberry Fizz ink and then partially embossed with the same gold embossing glitter I used on the trees.
The background was stamped in Midnight ink using the Sketch Plaid Background Stamp.
