I have two cards to share with you today!
First up is a fun flying rhino card!
For this card I started by creating the background using the Rainbow Slimline Die from Catherine Pooler. I love this die! I used the Carnivale Collection of Inks (individually linked in my supply list) for my colors (I blended lightly so they are almost pastel which is much lighter than they stamp) and blended the ink on a piece of cardstock and then die cut it and paper pieced the appropriate colors into the rainbow.
I stamped the cute rhino in Mardi Gras Ink & the bird in Samba Ink (with a Limoncello beak) using the Catherine Pooler Born to Be Wild Stamp Set & Coordinating Dies. For the balloon I blended Limoncello Ink with the Oval CP Balloon Stencil and then used CAS-usal Friday's Jacks Stencil to blend the pattern on the balloon in All that Jazz Ink. I used Cookies & Cream Twine to tie the balloon around the rhino and popped it all up with foam dimensional tape.
Since the rhino is soaring in the air I wanted to add some clouds to my card so I used the Catherine Pooler Melon Edge Die to create a scalloped sentiment panel for the card. I then used another piece of cardstock that I had die cut using the same die as a stencil to sponge the clouds onto the background. I used Hot Tub ink to create the clouds. I stamped the sentiment in Coral Cabana Ink from CAS-ual Fridays from the Happy Birthday Stamp Set.
The Happy Birthday Stamp Set from CAS-ual Fridays has great sentiments for the inside of cards too.
For my second card I have a festive balloon theme and this card you can see how vibrant the Carnivale Ink colors stamp as opposed to lightly blended like in the first card.
I took a piece of white cardstock and used CAS-usal Friday's Jacks Stencil and blended with VersaMark ink over the top and then heat embossed that with Clear Embossing Powder. I used the Oval CP Balloon Stencil and blended Be Mine, Coral Cabana, Limoncello, All that Jazz & Mardi Gras Inks over the top of the embossed areas to create the patterned balloons. I stamped the sentiment using the CAS-ual Fridays Happy Birthday Stamp Set.
I again used the Catherine Pooler Melon Edge Die as a stencil to sponge the clouds onto the background. I used Hot Tub ink & Mint to Be Ink to create the clouds. I also added in some star sequins from the Catherine Pooler North Pole Sequin Mix.

What a great idea to use the Jacks Stencil and the Oval CP Balloon Stencil in combination. Those balloons really pop with that addition!
