Proud of You Pumpkin Fall Pick-N-Mix Mini Release from Catherine Pooler

There's a new mini release coming to Catherine Pooler Designs on Wednesday, August 12th at 9 AM EST called Fall Pick-N-Mix.

There will be a new set of mini inks in the store at that time also!  The new Paradise Found minis will be available for purchase!

For my card today I made another rainbow of pumpkins card but this time I used the Paradise Found ink colors (all of them!) for the color scheme.

I hope I can explain how I made this card so you can understand.  I started with Kraft cardstock (top layer) and then die cut out the large orange pumpkin first using the Hey Pumpkin Dies.  Then I figured out where I'd want each of the next pumpkins and die cut those pumpkins (and leaves & stems) out next.  Once that was done I put a white piece of cardstock underneath and taped down the Kraft layer on top of it so it wouldn't move.  Then I die cut the pumpkins out of Masking Paper (you can also use Post-it-Notes) so that I could mask off the pumpkins where I didn't want to overstamp them.  I first stamped the Mandarin Spice pumpkin with the Hey Pumpkin Stamp Set and then put the mask down and stamped the Daydream & Peppermint Scrub pumpkin next.  I continued to use this technique with the Sauna & Royal Treatment pumpkins as well.  I stamped the pumpkin stems with Sand Castle, Over Coffee & Icing on the Cake inks.  I stamped the leaves in Eucalyptus & Green Tea inks.

Once I had the pumpkins stamped I assembled the two layers by popping the Kraft layer up with dimensional tape.  You can see the dimension in this photo.

Here I created another tag with the Hey Pumpkin Stamp Set & the One Liners Sentiments Stamp Set with Juniper Mist ink.  I used the Morning Joe Border Die to create the zig zag tag edge.  I finished the card off with sequins from the new Mystic Sequin Mix.
