I love the look of ombre so for today's sneak peek I created a soft ombre bee & butterfly card.
I started by stamping the Beehive Background in VersaMark ink and embossing it in white. I then used Life Changing Brushes and blended Mint to Be ink onto the background using less ink as I went to get the ombre look. I stamped the sentiment from the Wings of Joy Stamp set in Mint to Be ink and adhered with foam tape.
I took a piece of vellum and stamped the large butterfly from the Wings of Joy Stamp set with VersaMark ink and then embossed it in white also. I then die cut it with the coordinating Wings of Joy Dies. I carefully adhered some foam tape to the places on the butterfly that were covered in embossing powder so that it wouldn't show through the vellum and attached to the card base.
