Miss You + SALE

Hello friends! I hope you are all doing well, even being cooped up!  I wanted to share a card with you that I made a while back using a set that is perfect for this current situation we find ourselves in and one that also provides the perfect sentiments for sending happy mail!  It's called Happiness Enclosed and is among the sale items in the Catherine Pooler Store!  (Catherine Pooler is currently shipping and they have safety precautions in place!  She has lots of stamping essentials available in the shop also!)

I'm Gonna Miss You

I decided to use the postal tape border stamp from the on-sale Happiness Enclosed Stamp Set to make a patterned background. I did this by scoring lines in my card using my Scor-Pal so that I could easily line up my image.  And the lines add just a little bit more texture and interest to the card.  After that, I die cut the piece down using the Postage Stamp Dies.   

I added a piece of vellum on top that I had embossed with the sentiment, from the Bon Voyage Stamp Set and then added the heart swirl image from the Happiness Enclosed Stamp Set.  I hand cut the image of the paper airplane after stamping it with the Happiness Enclosed Stamp Set.  I popped both the paper airplane and my striped piece up with dimensional tape.
