Sending Smiles + Big Sale

Happy April!  Today I wanted to share a fun card with you using some newer Catherine Pooler products.  And one of the products I used on this card is on SALE right now in the shop (more on that at the end of this post)!

First up I started with the background. I stenciled Grass Skirt & Be Mine inks on Premium White Cardstock with the Life Changing Blender Brushes & the Wonky Triangles Stencil.  I then stamped over the triangle background with the Wild Thing Background stamp.  It reminds me of a watermelon but I finished the card with a pineapple. :)

For the focal point of this card I die cut and stamped the pineapple using the Pineapple & Smiles stamp set and the Pineapple & Bits dies.  I then used a Zig Blender Pen and It's a Girl & Be Mine ink to color in the pineapple.  For the top portion of the pineapple I used Grass Skirt & Lime Rickey inks and then outlined the leaves with a black micron pen (05).   I added some googly eyes to the pineapple & used a little sliver from the Blowing Bubbles Border die to make a mouth for the pineapple.  I also added some flower sequins from the Inspiration Point Sequin set for some bling for the "hair".  I die cut the background tag in vellum using the Lovely Flowers & Banners die set and embossed the sentiment in black, also from the Pineapple & Smiles stamp set.  I used Midnight paper as accents on the card also.
