I wanted to share a few details on this card so I am posting on my blog as well.
For this card I started by coloring the adorable birds from the Toucan Do It stamp set with copic markers. So fun!! I am not much of a "colorer" but I sure enjoyed these birds! I knew the moment I saw them that they would be fun and something different for my collection of stamps! I also stamped some of the leaves from the Leave Me in Paradise stamp set in black ink and die cut them with the coordinating Leave Me in Paradise dies and then layered them behind the birds.
The background was made by first stamping a border from the Good Vibes Borders stamp set on Premium White Cardstock. I have found so many uses for that background set! I then die cut another piece of the white cardstock with the awesome To the Point Cover Plate die. It gives the background a fun, textured look and doesn't overpower the birds on the front. The sentiment was embossed with white embossing powder on Midnight cardstock, also from the Toucan Do It stamp set.
