Why not celebrate every day? We are given a fresh do over every day with the rising of the sun! It seems like a perfect call for a celebration right? I love this sentiment on this card because it can be used for so many different occasions!
For this card I started by die cutting the cup cake stand with the I Eat Cake dies from Catherine Pooler (see how I used it as a party hat stand on this card). I love this stand!! It's so unique and fun! I then stamped and die cut all of the little cupcakes & cakes with the I Eat Cake stamp set. That was also fun to mix & match colors and stamp choices. There are SO MANY options! This color scheme is Sweet Sixteen, It's a Girl, Shea Butter, Mint to Be & Garden Party. I also used Over Coffee for the chocolate. The sentiment is stamped using one of my favorite stamp sets called Woohoo and it coordinates perfectly with the images in the I Eat Cake stamp set!
Did you notice the polka dots in the background? I used white embossing powder and embossed the Doin' the Polka Background stamp. It made a nice, textured background but didn't take away from the main images.
