Hello! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend! I know I did! We enjoyed a great time of worship Sunday morning and celebrated that our King has risen! What a wonderful reminder of what my faith is all about!
Today I am here to share three cards I've made with the latest card kit for the Crafty Peeps Card Kit Club! Our host this month is Kristii Lockart! I LOVED this kit! So many fun papers and embellishments!
My first card is also my favorite! I cut a small strip out of the patterned paper and inserted another piece from the collection underneath. I made a Polaroid frame of sorts for the camera. I loved the little cork board heart that Kristii included! So cute!
I wanted to use as many papers from the collection as I could for this card but I also wanted to keep the focus on that gorgeous "thanks" die cut! I placed of piece of PTI vellum over the paper where the die cut word would go. I really like that you can still see the papers but they are muted enough that they don't take away from the word.
This last card is super clean & simple. I used the fun frilly frame as the focus and built the rest of the elements around it.
Thanks for stopping by today! To see what else has been created using this kit visit:

Jen, these are lovely! What a great idea to use vellum over all the strips. I'll have to remember that!
Oh, these are so pretty, Jen! Fabulous job with the kit!
Love these cards! The vellum was the perfect touch!
Love ALL of these, Jen! I especially love the 2nd card, I like how you used the vellum over the pretty patterned papers on that one, it helps the die cut to really stand out!
I just love the homespun look to your second card with the soft vellum overlay with that AWESOME word die!!! Looked like an amazing kit!
