Today is the last day of the Lil' Inker Designs release showcase! All of the products being shown are currently available in the Lil' Inker store already! If you are following along in the blog hop you should have come from Heather Campbell's blog and if you'd like to start at the beginning, visit Laura's blog! There are three $15 gift certificates to the LID store up for grabs, so the more blogs you comment on, the better your chances are of winning!
Before we get on to our projects today, I wanted to say a little goodbye to another team member, Alyssa Scritchfield. She is going to leave to focus on establishing a new family business. She will be missed! I always enjoying seeing what her creative mind comes up with!
For my first project today, it may not be real obvious where all of the pieces came from. As I was cutting the Quick Notes Star Fold Out die, there is a negative piece that is left (see the dark diamond on the product image below?) behind. I would set this on my desk and the more I looked at it I thought it looked just like a kite. So, why not put that little piece of paper to work and create a kite out of it? I did just that! The kite string is the balloon string from the Balloon Builders stamp set.
That green hill is made from a new product too. It is the edge of the Frames & Flowers die set! It made the perfect hill! The sentiment is from the Quick Notes stamp set and the clouds are from the Cloudy Sky Die & Rainbows & Clouds die set. And, last but not least that awesome background is from the new Quilted Stitched Pattern die.
One last card to share.
I used the Quick Notes Star Fold Out die on this card. The stars look like they are dancing!
I embossed the sentiment & star tails from the Quick Notes stamp set.
When you open the card up, there is a little surprise inside! The recipient will find a glassine envelope with a sentiment embossed on the front of it.
The stars are attached to the inside frame of the Frames & Flowers die set. This frame fits perfectly into the little envie! When you unfold the stars there is a little message.
That's all I have for you this release! I hope you enjoy the new products! I'd love to hear what your favorite is!
Your next stop on the hop is over to Karen's blog!
Don't forget to comment for a chance to win!

I thought the same thing about that little leftover bit, Jen! I'm saving mine for cute kite cards.
Love them both, but I just can't get over your brilliance in using the negative cut as a kite.
Awesome projects today, Jen! Love them!
Kite card ROCKS! But I love your long card with the Star Fold Out die across it!!!!!!! FAB FAB FAB!!!!!!!!!!
I love your style! The bright colors are so fun!
How creative to see a kite in the "unused" part of the die. Thanks for pointing out the "hills" were part of the frame. I was not seeing those creative uses! Your cards are clever and the new design are all wonderful. You designers have really shown many versatile ways to use these new products!
Love your style! And bright, happy colors!
Adorable with the clouds and kite on the stitched background.
