A Rainbow of Light

Hello everyone!!  I have a card to share today that I put together some time ago and never got around to sharing.  The lighthouse stamp on this card speaks to me and I wanted to showcase it with Jesus in mind.  If we fix our eyes on Jesus, He IS the light and in Him I find that the rainbow is BRIGHT as Jesus is the ultimate example of how we should live our life.  So pairing it with the paper and the rainbow light just seemed fitting.

I used the lighthouse from Catherine Pooler's By the Sea Stamp Set and colored it in with Copic Markers shading the left hand side a little darker than the side that the light is shining on.  That really didn't take much time at all.  I added a little bit of gray for shading.  

The background paper for this card came from a pack of paper that I'm not sure is in print any long called Creative Devotion by American Crafts...sorry!  Any scripty paper would work if you wanted to replicate this look and Illustrated Faith has quite a few that would be good.  You could also use any of the watercolor Bible Journaling word stamp sets to create your own background like this as well.  I used some Limoncello Ink and a Blending Brush to add the shine behind the light.  I also cut up a rainbow of colors of random pattern paper to make the light beam.
