Hello again! I'm here today sharing another sneak peek from the next Catherine Pooler Design's release, Make a Wish. This release includes some of the cutest stamp & die sets and four new ink colors to finish off the Beach Retreat Ink Collection. New products go live in the Catherine Pooler shop on Wednesday, July 14 at 9 AM EST. If you are a StampNation Member you get to shop early on Tuesday, July 13 at Noon.

The last few posts I have shared cards using the new Doxie Birthday Party Stamp Set. Today I am also sharing a card made with that set but in an entirely different way!
For this slimline card I kept it super simple and added a fun element! I thought that a really long candle would fit this sentiment perfectly and be a fun twist on the theme.
I started by stamping the background with the sentiment, from the Doxie Birthday Party Stamp Set in the new Merlot Ink color. I then used the small heart stamp from that same stamp set and stamped it repeatedly using the other 3 new ink colors, Sparkling Berry, Clay Mask and Serene. I put a line of adhesive where I wanted to attach my candle, tied a ribbon around the candle and attached it to the card. This was so simple to put together! I actually made two other cards to go with this one that I'll show you some time later. The candle came in a pack from Walmart.
