Hello everyone!! It's another day of sneak peeks from the newest Catherine Pooler Designs Release, Make a Wish.
These new items, along with 4 new ink colors, will be live in the shop on Wednesday, July 14th, unless you are a StampNation member and then you get to shop early at Noon EST today!
If you haven't seen the new inks, here they are with the other 4 previously released inks in the same color family.
For this card, I used the same ink colors I used on this card that I shared yesterday only this time I added black details. Isn't it interesting how much that black changes the look of a card?
After stamping the candles and the details with the Make a Wish Stamp Set, I then die cut it out with a Postage Stamp Die. The colors I used for the candles are: Catching Rays, Tiki Torch, Coral Cabana, Pucker Up, Serenade, Cummerbund & Lime Rickey. I then took the Party Word Die and die cut it out of the center of the candles. I then die cut the Party Word Die again out of white cardstock. I inlaid the letters from the candle card front in the plain white cardstock die cut and then attached it to the front of the card with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment "time" using the new Time to Party Sentiments Stamp Set. I placed all of that on a black card base.
The last little detail I added was to take a glue pen, add a touch of glue at the top and side of each flame and then pour on some Halo Embossing Glitter and heat set it. This melted the embossing glitter onto the flames, just like if I had used watermark ink but since this was an afterthought, this was an easy way to add the embossing glitter.
I wanted to show you one more product that I haven't shown on my blog but it is pretty cool!
Here's a small example of what they can do. I can't wait to get these and play! Balloon are so versatile and can be used for any sort of celebration!
