This week we have experienced a taste of Spring with beautiful 60 degree weather! It has been so refreshing after below freezing temperatures not too long ago! So I thought a Spring themed card needed to be shared today!
I LOVE these butterfly stamps called Great Wings! I really love that you can color the images OR you can use the solid stamp included with the set to stamp & it does the coloring for you! I stamped the outside detailed stamp in Rockin' Red Ink & the solid background stamp in Sweet Sixteen Ink. For the background I die cut two pieces of patterned paper from the Fleur De Patterned Paper Pack with the Diagonal Stripe Cover Plate and then inserted the purple pieces into the slots.
I took a piece of vellum and embossed the sentiment from the Sincere Thanks Stamp Set in both black and white. The butterflies are popped up with dimensional tape. I added some Pierre Sequins to finish the card off, attached with tiny glue dots.
