Take Out on Date Night + GIVEAWAY!

I wanted to share the project here on my blog that I am sharing on Instagram, along with a few details as well.  

I used several of the new Date Night Ink colors for this duo that I am absolutely in love with (and I promise, I am not just saying that!)!  The colors I chose were Pucker Up, Cummerbund, Serenade, Chiffon, Drive-In, Inthe Park and Mardi Gras.  

I die cut the tag in the Hearts-n-Tags die set and then stamped the flowers & leaves from the Best in the Patch Stamp Set.  

I love these little flowers!  I also stamped some of the black dots, meant for the center of one of the flowers, around the outside perimeter of the images to add  more contrast.  For the card base I attached a strip of black & white polka dotted paper from the Little Black Slimline Patterned PaperPack and then a piece of serenade paper from the Happy HeartsSlimline Patterned Paper Pack.  I attached the tag with dimensional foam & added a piece of Midnight Twine and a few sequins (attached with glue dots) from the Loveladies and PaisleyPark Sequin Mixes.  

 

Isn't this little box so cute?  I used a piece of white cardstock and die cut it with the Mini Take Out Box.  Then I used the Best in the Patch Stamp Set like I did on the card tag and stamped the design.  Then I folded it up.  

I took a piece of craft wire and bent it into the position I wanted for the handle and poked holes in each side (do this before it is all folded up) and pushed the wire in.  I love the handle it created!

Date Night Inks & Love-N-Hearts Release Available TODAY!

SO how about we take a look at a simple card using all of the new ink colors!?

Sigh.  I just love looking at these inks all on one card.  They work so gorgeously together!  This is such a simple card to make too!  I stamped hearts from the Hip Hearts Stamp Set on the card front with the new Date Night Ink Collection, alternating stamp sizes & colors.  I then chose where I wanted to stamp my sentiment, from the same set.  

I chose three hearts, stamped them once again on scrap cardstock and die cut them with the coordinating Hip Hearts Dies.  Then, I squooshed :) them into my VersaMark Ink Pad until they were completely covered with ink.  I used a tweezers to hold onto the heart and then I poured the awesome new, must have Halo Embossing Glitter all over it and embossed. This embossing powder is awesome! I love the shimmer it gave the hearts.  I popped those hearts up with dimensional foam.
