What's a better way to celebrate a birthday with a coffee loving friend than with a coffee card!
I started by die cutting the Quilted Stitched XOXO die into the yellow cardstock. This die is awesome and can be used for so much more than just love or valentine's day cards! I die cut the Coffee Talk 2 dies out of patterned cardstock and pieced my mug and steam together. The coffee in the mug is a piece of woodgrain paper that I had on hand. It makes a creamy looking coffee without any work on my part! I die cut a piece of green patterned paper with one of the Dual Dotted Rectangle dies and then stamped the sentiment from Coffee Talk 2 stamps in Something Borrowed ink.
Once I placed the "coffee" in the cup I also took a Nuvo glitter pen and went over the paper to get a little bit of shimmer. I popped the coffee mug up with foam tape and also die cut three of the steam pieces and glued them together for dimension.
