Happy Birthday in Diamonds

If you haven't heard yet the Say it in Diamonds stamp set which sold out quickly is now back in stock in the Catherine Pooler store! This stamp set is a lot of fun because you can play with so many different pattern combinations.  Also back in stock is the wildly popular Twisted Sunburst Stencil!

For this card I used a unique color combination of Mint to Be, Be Mine, Limoncello & Polished inks.  I stamped the various diamonds from the Say it in Diamonds stamp set and then used one of the Postage Stamp stitched rectangle dies to trim the panel down. After I stamped the sentiment I embossed it with the super cool Wanderlust Embossing Powder.  Love that stuff!  I wrapped some white twine around that panel. 

To create the background I used the Twisted Sunburst Stencil and some Mint to Be ink and sponged it onto a white piece of cardstock to create the background panel, getting lighter as I went out from the center. I die cut that piece with the largest of the Postage Stamp dies and adhered to my coral cardstock.  I popped the small inner panel up with dimensional tape.
