This is a duo I made using the Triangle Treat Holder die from Lil' Inker Designs and the coordinating Make a Santa die & stamp set bundle. There are so many fun things you can make with this treat box!
For my Santa, I cut out one of the boxes with red cardstock and the other one with a textured, almost leathery cardstock (from Hobby Lobby) that I thought looked like the texture of what could be Santa's red coat. I cut out the beard, hair and mustache in white and then used the ultra cool Quilted Swirl Stitch Pattern Die to give his beard texture (thanks Chrissy for that idea!). His belt and feet were cut from black glitter paper.
For the tag I die cut one of the speech bubbles from the Speech Bubbles 2 die set and then stamped one of the sentiments from the Make a Santa stamp set. I tied some Gold Shimmer Twine from The Twinery through the holes and added a bell.
For Rudolph I cut the Triangle Treat Holder die in Kraft cardstock. For the eye lashes I used the Hey Foxy stamps and then added googly eyes. I cut the Santa Hat from the Make a Santa die bundle and then added a red sparkly nose and antlers with pipe cleaners.
And, since Christmas is almost here, I thought I'd show you a picture of a previous project I've made using the Triangle Treat Holder die for Easter.
This project uses the Make a Bunny Die & Stamp bundle.
I hope you all have a great day as you prepare for Christmas this season!
Merry Christmas!
