The Twinery & Ruby Rock-It

Welcome to The Twinery & Ruby Rock-It Blog Hop!  This is a two day hop, so be sure to stop by The Twinery's blog tomorrow too to see more inspiration from the teams!  What's a blog hop without prizes?  Information on that is at the bottom of this post!

If you are following along in the hop, you should have come from
Liana Suwandi's blog!  To start at the beginning, visit The Twinery's blog!

I have two projects to share with you!  I received the Carnival Line King from Ruby Rock-It to work with.

 So Amazing

First up is this interactive card.  I used one of the Carnival King Pockets on the front of this card and then embellished it with other products from the line including some of the stickers and die cuts from this same line.  I tied the Solid Charcoal Twinery Twine around the bottom of the pocket for a pop of color and also used a piece of Solid Marigold to loop around the top circles holding down the flap.

So Amazing Out

I loved this little Sunshine card that fits inside the pocket and decided to make it an interactive element by having it pulled out from the side of the pocket.

Fun & Games

For my 2nd project I used one of the Card stock pieces to make a party invitation.  I tied Solid Peapod Twine (I happen to love this color of green, it is so trendy!).  The lips on this card I made sparkly but it is hard to see that in the picture.

Fun & Games Inside

This is the inside.  I thought that the hat & glasses diecuts were adorable and I tied a Solid Maraschino bow tie under them.  I used the invitation stamp set from Lil' Inker Designs "You're Invited" stamp set.

Fun & Games Closeup Inside

The rainbow border is fabric and is included in the diecut pack.

I mentioned before that there were some prizes up for grabs.

Fantastic! I think I like the invitations the best, the minimal use of twine is a great accent.
