Wood Mounted? GASP!!

Hello everyone!! I am back from vacation and trying to catch up with everything!  I had the chance to stop at a couple scrapbook stores while we were traveling and although I didn't buy a lot I did pick up a new stamp.  This part is hard for me to type because it is a wood mount stamp...gasp!  I. Don't. Use. Wood. Mounted. Stamps. Period.  But this particular stamp, I have loved for a long time and decided since it was a background stamp I could justify it.  This once.  And, honestly, after stamping with it, I know why I do not like to use wood mounted stamps!  LOL!!

So, the wood mounted stamp is the cloud background by Hero Arts.  Cute stamp!  I have so many other stamps that I can use with this image and so I think it will find its way onto many cards...even though I have a handicap with wood!  Are you getting sick of rainbows and clouds yet?  I just can't quit playing with them!  They are so much fun and unlike anything I have and I thought it would be so much fun to use them with the cloud background!

I also picked up 2 sheets of gingham paper and so I thought a cute, gingham rainbow was in order! Luckily, I had the green gingham paper already in my stash.  I didn't really want to make the cloud dies white since that was what the clouds in the background were, so I went all out with pink glitter clouds!  The pink clouds are cut from a glittery piece of fun foam. If you have a fun rainbow, you might as well have fun clouds too right?

That's all for me today!  Thanks for visiting! I hope you have a bright spot in your day as well!

Miss Jen....I didn't ever think I'd see you go back to wood! :) I LOVE that cloud background and have been looking for it for a while so instead I bought the longer paneled one by HA. I love that you paired it up with the new rainbow die! Those glittery clouds are so much fun! I was trying to figure out what material they were made out of just by the picture and then I read your post (i always read your post btw :)). They looked quilted! We need to catch up on your vaca! Miss ya!

What a happy card! I love the clouds, especially. I already have several cloud dies, but is 'enough' really 'enough'? ;)
