Perfect Pear Puffies

Hey everyone!! I am back today with a card challenge and some more homemade puffies...this time pears!

Very clean & simple card today.  I wanted the pears to be the star of the show!  I die cut the pears out of fabric (with the Pellon Craft Fuse Iron-On Backing ironed on to stiffen it up).  For more information on how I did this, you can check out this post.

Now this probably is self-explanatory, but I wanted to show you one more thing.  If you sew two pears together, you will have to die cut the front of the material for one pear and then cut from the  backside of the material for the 2nd pear or your pear tops won't match.  Here's a visual:

Pear one cut this way:

For the 2nd pear, flip your fabric over and cut it out from the backside.

This allows the pears to match up when you sew.

I'm also entering this in the Wee Memories challenge for this week to use a photo from Pinterest as your inspiration.

Here's the photo I chose:

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you have a great day!

Supplies (all PTI unless noted)
Stamps:  Fruit Fusion Pear, Framed
Paper: Harvest Gold
Ink: True Black, Pure Poppy & VersaMagic Tea Leaves
Other: Fabric from Hobby Lobby, Twinery Twine, RF Button, Score-tape (to hold the pears on)

Oh my goodness. Thank you for that visual. I would have NEVER figured that out..lol. I'm QUITE the disaster when it comes to non visual instructions, so this is what I needed. This card is too cute. Love the puffies!

These little pears are so cute! I am glad you pointed out that front and back tip, as I am quite sure I would have done it the wrong way before it sunk into my dim little brain. You did a great job with that inspiration photo.

Oh my! I just adore those little puffies! Thanks for the tutorial. I would love to make my own, I can't wait to try it out. That fabric is so pretty.

I love the simplicity of the card paired (pardon the pun!) with that gorgeous busy fabric. Yummy!
