For this challenge I impressed the tops and bottoms of the card and left a strip in the center for my stamped paper strip. I used my Scor-pal to score lines at the top/bottom of where the impression plate met the strip to create visual interest and to mask off the line left by the impression plate.
This shows a closeup of what I did.
Isn't that glittery house fun? I got the idea from a sign I made for an upcoming women's event at church. I used that same house die and the same papers, just opposite colors. Our group is going to go see "Little House on the Prairie" at the Children's Theatre in town next month. How fun!!
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you enjoyed this card! Be sure to join the Make it Monday challenges! They are a lot of fun!
Stamps: Fillable Frames, Signature Greetings Butterfly, Damask Designs

This is so pretty Jen, love the glittery bird house!
This tin type impression plate is really nice for the partial emboss technique. Using the damask designs for the patterned paper was also a great choice Jen. Wrinkled ribbon and the glittery house was just frosting on the cake, in my opinion. Loved it.
It looks great! love your combo- and that yummy ribbon too! :)
Love it Jenn!
The wrinkle ribbon and glitter house just sets it off!
Love "Little House..."...
still watch it on Hallmark...
so have fun! :)
Love this card, Jen. The impressed pattern is great, but I really love the way you inked and stamped the damask for your printed panel. And the sparkly house, rounded corners, little damask pattern on the sentiment label... it's all great! I haven't visited for awhile so I had to scroll down and see what you've been creating. Thanks for providing me with so much inspiration! Hope your daughter had a great 3rd birthday!
Jen, this is such a sweet card!!! I have GOT to make some seam binding!! hugs, Katrina
Very nice! Love all the different elements especially the house!
Jen, this is just gorgeous! I love the embossed technique. It showcases that fabulous damask paper you made! I also LOVE that glittered little house. :)
Have a great weekend!
Love the colour running through the paper strip and the pop of colour for the house too. Fab design.
Lovely card! I have yet to buy an impression plate but I'm really wanting that linen/canvas one and the circles.
Oooh, pretty Jen. I really like that Damask stamped piece and the tiny yellow glitter house too! Darling!
Pretty, Jen! Love that bow and glittered house. I loved Little House on the Prairie (the TV show) when I was younger. Enjoy!
Love that little LLH house in yellow - it makes the whole card pop! And all the lovely details of the whole card! Beautiful!
GASP!!! Jen, I see wrinkled seam binding!! I love your impression and the scored lines.....really draws the eye to the gorgeous stamped damask center! Oh yeah, and that fun glittered house? What a fabulous card Jen!

Oh WOW. I can't believe what a great job you've done here! I'm in love with that off-set FF#10, and the perfect balance between the damask, the sentiment, and the adorable glittered house!
Gorgeous, Jen!! Love how the score lines help to focus in on the stamped background and sentiment mat. The glittered house is a cute detail, too. Very pretty :)
