This is the card I made for my mother-in-law this year. I really like these colors together! It's hard to see in the photo, but I used the woodgrain stamps on my background.
I used the woodgrain impression plate on the New Leaf layer. Can you see my "oops" in this picture?
I hope that all of the mother's that visit my blog have a great day today and that you get spoiled rotten! As for me, I asked for a "PTI order" for Mother's Day!! Notice how I didn't specify a dollar amount! LOL!! And, for those of you who aren't mothers, I hope that you enjoy your day as well!
Supplies (all PTI unless noted)
Stamps: Round & Round, Woodgrain, Blooming Button Bits (Sentiment)
Paper: Lemon Tart, Raspberry Fizz, New Leaf, White
Ink: Raspberry Fizz, Lemon Tart, Champagne VersaMark, Palette Giverny Green
Other: Fiskars Border Punch, Ribbon (Michael's), Labels 6 Nestabilities (I think), Circle Punch

I love the woodgrain on the lemon tart. So yummy! The colors on this card are spectacular. I have never used New Leaf because it always seems too bright, but I really like the way it looks with the lemon tart and raspberry fizz.
Love the colors and the woodgrain!!
I love the colors on this and the ribbon threaded through the focal point. Great job Jen!

The woodgrain on yellow is so pretty Jen...what a nice card.
I really like these colors together! Thanks for reminding me that the woodgrain isn't just for masculine cards. BTW I only noticed your "oops" because you mentioned it. Wonderful card!
Great job! I would never have thought to use the woodgrain on the yellow or green!
