Here are a few cards that I designed this morning while being home from church sick. They both use the same layout and the same colors but they both serve very different purposes. I wanted a clean and simple design. This layout could be used for almost anything!
Here are the basics:
Here are the basics:
- Each card has at least one image stamped with VersaMark ink (a watermark ink) at the top
- Each burgandy strip (Bazzill paper) has been distressed using the Edge Distresser
- Each has a ribbon tied around the middle of the strip
The card at the top of this entry was stamped with a tag from the "Trendy Tags" set and the star is from "Simply Christmas". The tag was stamped with Pearl Ivy Brilliance Ink which is available in the Brilliance Dew Drop Earthtones set. This is such a pretty ink! It is shimmery and such a rich color. This ink is available in the TAC catalogue on page 118 and you get 4 of the Dew Drop ink colors for only $10.95 and they all have the shimmer! Here is what the package looks like:
This next card was stamped with TAC's "Circle Sampler" in Aloe Vera VersaMagic Ink and "Trendy Greetings" in Ocean Depth VersaMagic Ink. The leaf at the top of the card is from the "Keep Smilin'" set and is stamped with VersaMark ink. I added white dots around the scalloped circle using my white souffle pen.
So, there you have it! Two simple, simple cards using the same layout and same colors for two different looks!
