Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #379

For the baby theme I decided to go a little non-traditional and use balloons.  I used PTI's Balloon Bash Cover Plate die for the background and Lil' Inker Designs Balloon Dies & Birthday Balloon Greetings Dies.  The sentiment is from PTI's Bitty Baby Blessings Stamp Set.

The theme this week is "Oh, Baby".  You can choose to use the cupcake graphic for inspiration if you'd like but you don't have to, as long as your card or project fits the theme.

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #378

For my card today, I pulled out the super cute Tom Turkey die and used patterned papers to piece him together.  He is just so adorable!  I also used the Thanks Card Band Die to put Tom on top of to ground him.  (I had a hard time getting the whole card in focus, so I apologize that the bottom of the card is a little out of focus!)

Blessed to Call you Friend

Today I have another interactive card to share with a flair toward Fall.

I love the contrast of color against black & white stripes so that I how I started this card.  I used the Tombstone Peek-a-boo die from Lil' Inker Designs to create the interactive element to the card by die cutting it into the top center portion.  I love that one side of the die scores so that it creates a "door" but also a perfect frame.  To decorate the sides of the frame I used the lovely new Fall stamp set Reap a Harvest and the coordinating Reap a Harvest dies.  The sentiment, embossed in copper, is from Pumpkin & Flower Greetings stamp set.

With the frame partially opened the card looks like this above.

And here it is fully opened.  I used the sentiment (LOVE this font!) and more Fall floral decorations from the Reap a Harvest stamp set.  The card does still open so that you can write on the inside, just like a normal card would.
