Hey everyone! I have another sneak peek of the next release at Catherine Pooler Designs called April Showers Brings... This release goes live in the shop on

This card was made using the left over pieces from the card I shared yesterday!
Rainbow clouds?! Oh yes! So if you are going to create a rainbow, doesn't it just seem fitting to also have rainbow clouds? I embossed the cloud pattern from the fun new April Showers Stamp Set onto vellum and embossed it in white. I then die cut it with the coordinating April Showers Dies and attached it to the card base with vellum adhesive.
I created the rays in this card using the Sunburst Strips Cover Plate. Like I said yesterday, I used colored cardstock from my stash for this card but you could also easily make your own Catherine Pooler colored strips by using ink direct to paper (and I just watched her Live from the other day and that is exactly what Catherine did!)! (I'd recommend using Grape Crush, Pucker Up, Orange Peel, Limoncello, Lime Rickey, Aquatini, & Fiesta Blue). I used a piece of gold glitter paper for one of the rays.
The sentiment is embossed on vellum and it
is also part of the April Showers Stamp Set. It seemed
appropriate for this card! To finish the card off I added some sequins
from the new Berryton Sequin Mix.
