On the Nice List Gumball Machine

Hey everyone!  It's almost Christmas!  I love the gumball machine from the Hey Sugar Sentiments Stamp Set.  I decided to put a fun Christmas twist on it.  This was a fun one to put together and it leaves my mind thinking about all of the possiblities of other "items" I could add to my gumball machine next time!

I stamped the gumball machine from the Hey Sugar Sentiments Stamp Set in Samba Ink and then embossed it with Halo Embossing Powder to make it sparkly! You can see that detail a little better in the photo below.  The patterened paper is from the Better Not Pout Patterned Paper Pack.  I die cut it with one of the dotted rectangle dies from the Scallops & Dots Dies Set.  The sentiment is from the Holiday One Liner Sentiments Stamp Set.

I wanted to put some fun Christmas items inside of the gumball machine. I've seen this done in stores during Christmas time and I LOVE the fun look it gives! Why not replicate that with our stamps and supplies? I stamped, die cut and embossed stamps from the Festive Trimmings Stamp Set (bells & ribbon), the Hey Sugar Sentiments Stamp Set (round ornament) and the Mountain of Thanks Stamp set (Christmas tree).  I embossed these items with Wow Embossing Powders in Lime Rickey, Halo, Metallic Gold Rich Super Fine and Emerald CIty. I popped the gumball machine up with foam tape to easily fit the items inside of the globe.

Merry Christmas to You & Yours!

Hello!  How is everyone doing?  It is snowing and blowing (blizzard like) in Kansas today! Brrrr!  But we started Christmas break this week so that is pretty exciting! 

I have a card I wanted to share with you today!  

I love this mistletoe image from the Jolly Holly Stamp Set!  I stamped it here in Seafoam Ink and then added a bow stamped in Rose Petal Ink.  The background was die cut using the Jack Frost Cover Plate Die.  The sentiments are embossed in white on gray cardstock and are from the Holiday One Liner Sentiments Stamps.  

For the berries I used sequins from the Vienna Sequin Mix which added sparkle and dimension.
