Tussy Mussy Floral Birthday + New Snow-rific Birthday Release

It's time for another Catherine Pooler Designs released called Snow-rific Birthday! This release will go live in the shop on Wednesday, October 12th at 9 AM ET.  LInks for new products that I use in this post will be linked but will not be in the store until release time.  

The set I worked with really isn't at all "snowy" although you could use more Christmas like colors to make a holiday card with them.  But this set fits the birthday portion of this release.  I LOVE this set.  It's called Tussy Mussy and is a beautiful floral set! 

For this card I used quite a few of the new products in the Tussy Mussble Bundle (trust me...just get the entire bundle, you'll regret it if you don't!).  I started this card by attaching the floral patterned paper called Vintage Garden to my card front.   Then I used the tag die from the Hearts-n-Tags Die Set to create an opening in the card.  I then stamped the sentiment from the Inside Out Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set in Royal Treatment Ink.  I love these sentiments that fit perfectly on the inside of the card but can also be used on the outside if you wanted.  I then framed the tag opening with the florals from the Tussy Mussy Stamp Set and added some Zermatt Sequins and some gold embossing powder.  The ink colors I used are: Lilac, Royal Treatment, Tiara, Shea Butter, Clay Mask, Polished, Peppermint Scrub, Wintergreen, Seafoam and Sea Glass.     

When you open the card this is what you see.  The sentiment was stamped on a tag that fits the opening so that I easily knew where to place the sentiment.  I added some leaves to make a stacked looked when the card is closed and it also addes color to the inside.  And I also added some Sweet Twist Twine for the bow.
