Dried Treasures Bold & Bright + New Inks + Ex Libris Release

Hey friends! I am having a lot of fun sneaking some of the new products coming to the Catherine Pooler Designs store this week as part of the Ex Libris collection! 

There are four gorgeous new ink colors coming with this collection!  I haven't used any on the card I'm sneaking today but if you scroll back through my blog you'll see several examples, as well as ink color comparisons, from previous days!  These new products will be live in the shop on Wednesday, April 6th at 9 AM EST.

For today's card I wanted to go bold & bright!

I have had some colored vellum in my stash for years and every once in a while I pull it out.  I felt like these vases were calling for it so I gave it a try and like how it turned out!  I die cut the various vases with dies in the Dried Treasures Die Set and then used vellum adhesive to attach it to my card front.  

I colored the flowers from the Dried Treasures Stamp Set with Copic markers to match their respective vases.  The background was die cut with the Scallops & Dots Dies.  I used the black & white polka dotted paper from the previously released Fresh & Fruity Patterned Paper Pack for the top 2/3 of the background & then used white cardstock for the bottom 1/3.  The sentiment comes from the Lovely Birdies Stamp Set (I wish it was darker black but I lifted up too fast...oops!).  

I think that these florals and apothecary jars are so cute & fun!  I love playing with them!
