Bold Bits & Patterns with Warm Hugs + At Home Release

There's a new Catherine Pooler Release happening next week called, At Home, and we are sharing some sneak peeks of the collection!  You can find all of the new products in the shop on Wednesday, February 9th at 9 AM EST.  

There's also a new set of Date Night Inks available with this release!

The Date Night Minis are here and they are among some of my FAVORITE inks in the line! 

If you like to take your inks on the go, this size is a great way to take a lot of inks in little space!

I used a new stamp set called Bold Bits & Patterns Stamp Set for the background of this card.  It was fun to play with and to mix & match stamps & colors.  For the ink colors I used It's a Girl, Daydream, Mandarin Spice, Deck the Halls & Be Mine (I need to reink this one!).  

The thermoses are from a recently released stamp set that I really like called Warm & Cozy Stamp Set.  It has some fun mix & match elements to it.  The ink colors I used here are the same as I listed above.  After I stamped my background, I trimmed a piece of vellum to lay over the top to tone the colors down.  Then, I attached the thermoses with foam tape onto the vellum.  

You can see here on this background that I took my friend Karen's advice and doodled on my card.  I made an outline with a black pen around the larger colored ink spots.  It defined the spots a little bit more and tied it into the little black spots.  The sentiment is embossed with fine black embossing powder from WOW and is also from the Warm & Cozy Stamp Set.
