There's a Flash Sale over at Catherine Pooler Designs on select patterned paper packs! One of the paper packs on sale is the Great Start Patterned Paper which has some great prints in it! One of my favorites is a gorgeous piece that is Juniper Mist with white polka dots. I also love anything with sunbursts in it and this pad has a great sun print as well. I love it! Today I'm sharing a card that uses that paper.
I started by layering my card front with the sun rise patterned paper from the Great Start Patterned Paper (25% off now!).
I stamped the hills in three different ink colors (Garden Party, Lime Rickey & Grass Skirt) using the Morning Borders Stamp Set and then hand cut the hills (super easy and I don't like to hand cut anything, LOL!). The rooster is a stamp from the Rise & Shine Stamp Set and is stamped in Sangria Ink.
For the sentiment I layered several strips of paper from the Great Start Patterned Paper Pack and then cut a banner with the blue polka dot paper using a die in the Hearts-n-Tags Die Set. I stamped the sentiment from the Rise & Shine Stamp Set in Sangria Ink and popped it up with dimensional tape. Last, I added in some Crater Lake Sequins.
