Oh Snap! Interactive Card & Video Sneak Peek from Catherine Pooler's Let's Party Collection

It's time for another sneak peek of the new release from Catherine Pooler Designs: Let's Party! I'm so excited about this bundle reveal, called Instacard, because it is all about cameras & coffee; two things I love!  

I've had a fascination with cameras for a long time, ever since I started scrapbooking way back in the day.  I even had some old cameras as decor in my home.  And my love for coffee started back in my college days when my friends & I would head to the 13th Street Coffee Company in Omaha, NE for late night coffee & cards. 

The overall theme for this month's release is Let's Party and you're going to love all of the new products! I sure do!  

These fun, new products will go live in the Catherine Pooler store on Wednesday, June 17th at 9 AM EST.  Complete details on the release are at the end of this post.

So how about an interactive card to start the camera reveal off using the new and so fun Oh Snap! Stamp Set?  I'll share some coffee themed cards tomorrow.  I put a video together, below, that shows how I created this card if you would like some tips & tricks.  It's really quite simple!

First off...isn't that camera image so fun!!? I LOVE it!! All of the cameras in this bundle are great!  I started by stamping my camera, from the Oh Snap! Stamp Set, in black ink. I put the "main" camera off to the side a little so that the pull-out strip that is hidden underneath would have room to nest in between the layers (if that doesn't make sense please watch the video and it will explain it much better!). I stamped & die cut another camera, using the coordinating Oh Snap! Dies which are made to also cut out the flash & lens at the same time if you don't cut the die apart (your choice).  I colored the camera with copic markers.  

Here is what the card looks like with the strip pulled out.  I stamped the sentiment strip using stamps from the Happy Birthday Many Ways Stamp Set which is a great essential for any crafter.  I hand wrote the "pull" with a black pen.  To see how I made the interactive part of this card work, please see the video below.

The Let's Party Release will go live in the Catherine Pooler Designs store at 9 AM EST on Wednesday, June 17th.  However, if you are a StampNation member you get to shop early (yay!) on Monday, June 15th at 1 PM EST.  (Please note that new products are linked but will not go live until release day.)
