25 Days of Christmas Tags + Black Friday Sale

Bag Tag

Today I wanted to try something a little different for my tag and so I came up with a tag for a bag that just slides on top of the bag!  Super, super simple (and quick) but a fun way to decorate up a bag.

So for my tag I stamped the ornament image from the new (and on sale!) Merry Ornament stamp set, stamped the coordinating detail image inside and then die cut it out with one of the Stitched Mats: Circles dies which fits it perfectly!  I then stamped the top of the ornament and glued it on.  I hole punched a couple of holes in the top and threaded gold ribbon through the holes and tied it.  

To turn this into a tag, I die cut one of the Anytime Tags dies and then used dimensional tape on the top half of the ornament and attached it to the tag. I only used it on half of the ornament so that the tag could slide onto the bag.

Here's what the tag looks like standing up.  You can see that if you wanted to write a message on the bottom of the tag you could easily do that and it would be hidden until the recipient pulls the tag out of the bag!

Let's take a look at the new collection that just release to the store.  I made two simple one-layered cards with this collection.  Easy to mail and full of rainbow color!

For both of these cards I used Tiara, Party Dress, Flirty Fuchsia, Orange Twist & All that Jazz inks.  I just changed up the stamping slightly but not much. I stamped the sentiments from the Punctuated Party stamp set (LOVE this set!!) and then added the confetti and the little "star" bursts using the Woohoo stamp set (another one I love!).  I added a clear sequin to the corner of the burst to finish the cards off.
