Happy last day of March! I can't believe it's a day away from April already! Time flies! At our Stamping Away event in February we each brought a gift to exchange. This was mine.
I used gold polka dotted paper from Hobby Lobby & black and kraft chevron paper from Target.
I die cut both sizes of the Embossed Dots Tagsdies and stamped the sentiment from the Bunny Hugger stamp set. I love the Fresh Cut Flowers stamp set & Fresh Cut Flowers die set and so I die cut and stamped several of the images & added them to the tag. Quick & easy way to decorate up a gift tag!
Hey everyone! Even though it snowed here yesterday, we were outside later in the afternoon without coats and having an Easter egg hunt! Crazy! But it sure puts me in the Spring mood and Spring means flowers. I don't have a green thumb but I really appreciate what everyone else is able to do with their green thumbs!
This was a fun card to put together and I used quite a few Frantic Stamper dies in the end. The main die is a recently released die called Wooden Potting Bench. The pots & leaves are also from that set.
I die cut the Watering Canout of silver paper and then distressed it with a sanding block to make it more realistic. I used the small lilac flowers & leaves from the Mix N Match Lilac die set to put in the watering can. The butterfly is from the Petite Butterflies die set. I watercolored all of the images with Zig Real Brush Pens (except for the bench & watering can).
The sentiment panel was diecut from vellum using the Double Fishtail Labels die set. I embossed the sentiment from the Celebration stamp set. The background was embossed with the Double Diamond Card Panel die (and I will share a video on this soon!).
How I loved waking up to snow this morning. Not that I love snow, because I don't. But it was such a wonderful illustration to how Jesus's death & then resurrection was the power to cleanse my sins and make them white as snow. The unblemished lamb took my sins upon Himself. What a true and wonderful blessing!
Thank you Jesus for your gift to me and to all mankind!
We are getting ready to head out to an Easter Egg hunt and I thought that this next card would be a fun one to share.
I started by die cutting my kraft cardstock with the Woodgrain Card Panel being careful to leave all of the pieces in so that it would look like a tree trunk. I then cut a circle from that and placed woodgrain cardstock behind it. I used the adorable Bunny Butt die from Frantic Stamper to put the bunny together.
I cut the tail out of white felt. Don't ya think bunnies need a fuzzy tail! :) The little flowers are from the die set that doesn't get enough attention because it is adorable called Singing in the Rain.
When you open the card you see the other side of the bunny peeking through the hole. I used the Bunny Butt dieagain and used the feet for the ears. For the face I used one of the dies from the Large Marshmallow Bunny dies. I added the flowers again from the Singing in the Rainset. The sentiment is from Accessory Words #3 die set which has lots of cute die word options!
Welcome to the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! I don't know about you but I sure enjoy a cup of hot coffee flavored with Peppermint Mocha creamer! If you'd like to start at the beginning of the hop and see all the details, including giveaway info, please visit the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog.
I wanted to make a fun, bright card for this hop! And I kept thinking about how in the Spring it rains and then brings the colorful flowers to the earth as the result. That was the theme I went with when I created this card.
I wanted lots of color to pop against that black, cloudy background. The coffee cup was cut with the Coffee Cozy die set from Lil' Inker Designs. I stamped the face using a stamp from the So Prickly stamp set. The sentiment is from Dance in the Rainand it is stamped on patterned paper die cut with one of the Pinking Edge Sentiment Flag dies. The little hearts next to the sentiment are from the Greetings & Salutations stamp set. And those adorable enamel hearts that are floating up, out of the cup in place of the steam, are from a new line from Illustrated Faith.
Thanks for joining me today! Be sure to visit the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog to visit all of the other participants!
Hey everyone! I wanted to tell you about a sale that Lil' Inker Designs is having on some of their stamps & dies. You can follow this link to see all of the products that are currently on sale. I wanted to show you a card made using some of these sale products.
This card features the stamp sets Spot On & Spot On Spring. I love these stamp sets! I used the flower images from the Spot on Spring set to create the flowers. The Hugs sentiment comes from the Spot on stamp set. Both of these stamp sets work together so well and I really like the large sentiments!
Hello everyone! Welcome to my Spring Break week, LOL! I've been looking forward to this week for a while now. The weather is beautiful and tomorrow we get to celebrate my daughter's birthday!
Frantic Stamper just had a couple of new releases and I wanted to share a new video I put together focusing on one of the new die sets called Pop-Ups #2, which is part of the Elementals series (#13). This new die set is a follow up to the original Pop-Up Card Bases die set.
I hope that that video helped show how to use this very versatile die set! As you saw, I also shared some dies that will be released soon so you know what you have to look forward to!
Here's one of the cards that I shared in the video that used products already available to order, from the Garden release!
The magic for this card happens when you open it up.
I tried something different with this pop-up card. I used acetate for my base. It is a nice thick acetate, sold as clear cardstock, and supports the elements very well. I used patterned paper for the background and then the acetate fit right over the top of it. The flower pot is a new die set called Gardening Pots and inside it are flowers that I die cut using the Mix 'n Match Daffodils set & the Mix 'n Match Crocus set.
I stamped my sentiment on my white cardstock base and then the acetate went right on top of it. The sentiment is from the new stamp set called Spring is Blooming.
To adhere the acetate to my card base I placed patterned paper at the bottom of the card (below the sentiment) and adhered it there. I adhered the top panel by strategically placing adhesive under the butterflies. It was just enough to hold it in place (and I adhered my butterflies with foam tape).
Here you can see how the pop-up works and how it looks with the acetate. I really like the effect it gives.
Thank you for joining me today! I hope your day is wonderful!
Today's card is a super simple one that is easy to put together without a lot of thought. Sometimes you need to put together a card quickly and this one will fit the bill.
I used the Hexagons In-Betweens dies that just released March 1st from Frantic Stamper. There is also a set of Stitched Hexagons that would work nicely for this card too (and they nest).
The sentiment is stamped from a Frantic Stamper stamp set called Celebration. I just love this font! To finish the card off, I added in a few enamel dots for a small pop of color.
I love the new WPlus9 Happy Birds set!! When I first saw it, it just kept calling my name. The funny thing is that coloring images has never really been my thing but for some reason this set was different! I played with a friend's Zig Pens and loved them and this card was born!
I needed some get well soon cards, as my stash was low, and I thought an upside down bird upsetting a pile of leaves seemed like the perfect thing to cheer up someone who was feeling a little down. The sentiment I used is from a Simon Says Stamp set called "Hand Lettered Encouragement". The watercolor panel is die cut from a Lil' Inker Designs Dual Dotted Rectangles die.

There are three $15 gift certificates to the LID store up for grabs, so the more blogs you comment on, the better your chances are of winning! So, have you seen the cute Bunny Hug Stamps & Dies yet? Aren't they the sweetest thing? My daughter is in love with them!
I found these cute little Dove chocolates that make the bunny look like she's hugging a chick! It was perfect! I colored her ears with a copic marker. I really like using double sided paper with the dies so that when the arms wrap around the front there is a pattern too.
There are several options on what you can stamp on the bunny's tummy if you choose too but this one is my favorite.
Next up today I have this card that features several new products. Isn't that stamped egg & sentiment just beautiful? That is from the new set called Egg & Flower Greetings Stamps. It's a lovely stamp set and it coordinates with the Dual Stitched Egg & Easter Greeting Die Set. I embossed both the flowers and sentiment onto an egg that I had water colored with distress inks. The large egg was die cut from that same die set & cut out from the new Easter Greetings Paper Pack,

Today I have some gift giving ideas for you. These are specifically decorated for Easter, but they would be great for the upcoming May Day holiday too!
Often on Easter it can be a tradition to give small gifts to children, friends and/or neighbors. I found a recipe online for a fun little Easter Bunny Mix and mixed all of the ingredients (listed below) together and then added them to the new Clear Gift Boxes that Lil' Inker Designs is now carrying! These boxes are the perfect size to hold card sets to give to friends, but I wanted to use it in a different way. The boxes come with two clear circle tabs so you have an easy way to close the box to secure your contents.
I wrapped a clear/printed piece of acetate around the box. Then I attached a tag to it that I made by die cutting the newStitched Easter Basket Diefrom patterned paper. I die cut & stamped the tulip from the fabulous new Fresh Cut Flowers stamps & Fresh Cut Flowers dies. Last but not least, I die cut the previously released Bunnies & Bows die cut bunny rabbit and pink bow and then stamped the new sentiment set that coordinates with the bunny dies called Easter Hodge Podge Stamps (which also coordinates with the new Egg & Flower Greetings Die Set).

Another new gift-giving product in the store are Clear Cone Treat Bags. You can fill these with so many things, but I went with red/pink jelly beans to stick with the Easter theme.
I die cut the Stitched Easter Basket diefrom white paper and also die cut the egg that comes in that die set, from a couple more of the new prints included in the Easter Greetings Paper Pack. Using the same die set, I die cut the gold bow.I die cut the bunny from theBunnies & Bows die set& then stamped the sentiment from the new Easter Hodge Podge stamp set & embossed it in gold.I LOVE how these sentiments are made to fit inside the bunny!
