I was looking at Whimsy's Distressed Background & Ink Splats stamp set and all of a sudden an idea hit me. Instead of seeing ink splats I saw a shooting star tail and a galaxy of stars. I used one of the watercolor brush stamps to create my tail. I embossed it with Denim embossing powder and added a touch of Iridescent Sparkle embossing powder on top of it to make it glitter and shine. I LOVE that stuff! I used two star stamps from Whimsy's Happy Hello set to create the stars.
To create the background I stamped one of the ink splat stamps over and over again and then embossed them in clear embossing powder to add shine. The sentiment, from Happy Hello, was embossed on vellum in an ombre palette. I'm going to have to do that again! The little silver stars, also from Happy Hello, were embossed in silver.
Well, that is it for me today! Thank you for visiting today! I hope your day is full of blessings!
Embossing Powders: Judikins Iridescent Sparkle & Clear Detail; Zing Denim & Powder; Filigree White Fine Art; Tsukineko Silver
