The Twinery & Imaginisce Blog Hop!

Welcome! If you are hopping along with us today, you should have come here from Kellie Winnell's  blog. If you did, you are in the right place! If you'd like to start at the beginning of the hop, check out The Twinery's blog for all the details!

Imaginisce sent me a fun collection of products from their Good Dog collection.  If you are a dog lover, then this line is certainly for you!  I decided to go a different direction with the products that were sent to me, as I fell in love with several of the paper designs, and created this bag and card set.

I just loved the colors in this collection and they complimented The Twinery's twine perfectly!

For this card I used the flag die from Lil' Inker Designs to make the banner strip with several of the fun Imaginisce's great paper selections!  The striped paper includes so many great colors!  I die cut a frame and strung several strands of twine from The Twinery onto the frame.  The "best friend" piece was cut from another one of the papers in the collection.

For the gift bag, I started with the orange striped paper piece and die cut the banner (with Lil' Inker Designs flag die) out of the paper.  I die cut the same flag banner with the polka dot paper and inserted it into the hole in the striped paper.  I cut the best friend strip down to size to make a little accent piece and used one of Imaginisce's frame die cuts as a mat.

For the top of the bag, I punched several holes through the paper and then tied the twine through them to create a fun accent.  The colors I used are:  Blue Shimmer, Mandarin, Rainbow Teal Shimmer, Peapod & Red Shimmer.

Now of course there are prizes involved with this hop!

Thanks for showing this particular project. I'm always looking for ways to decorate the plain bags. I really love how you used the twine at the top. Thanks for showing the close-up; I was trying to figure out if you strung them all the way through. Yep, you did! Super cool.
