Stitched Scallop Borders

Welcome to Day 2 of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release!

If you are following the blog hop, you should have come from Isha's blog.  If you'd like to start at the beginning, visit Laura's blog.  There are prizes up for grabs during this release celebration!  For each comment you leave on the designer's blogs this week, you will have an entry into the drawing to win one of two $10 gift certificates to the Lil' Inker Designs store!

Today we have another special product introduction:  Stitched Scallop Border Die.

Wish Big Scallops

I can't tell you how many times a card just needs "something" and I reach for some sort of border punch or die...we all do!  Lil' Inker Designs is releasing a fabulous border die that fits an A2 sized card perfectly AND it has that fabulous LID stitched detail!  BONUS!!  For this card, I die cut the scalloped from various patterns in the Basic Grey Hey Girl collection and stacked them.

I love the detail in the stitched scallops!  That sentiment is one of my favorites from the Flags & Tags stamp set.  That twine is another favorite called Rainbow Teal Shimmer from The Twinery.

Thank you for visiting today!  Don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win!  To continue on & see more inspiring projects, visit Karen's blog!

Such a simple but effective way to use patterned paper--you could cut a strip from every piece of a 6x6 pack, all pre-colour-coordinated. Loving the use of this new die!
