Thanks

I really need to think up some creative titles for my posts!  Why is it that when I get to that "box" that wants a title for my posts I just go blank.  How boring is "Thanks" for a post title, especially when I use that one all the time, LOL!!

Today I wanted to share a card I made way back for Mother's Day.  This is the card that I made for my mom...sort of.  I actually forgot to take a picture of it, so I recreated it but added a "Thanks" tag on it instead of the "Mom" tag that the original had.

I love using the Giga Guidelines stamps!  They are just so versatile and can be used for SO many things!!  Also, LOVE the tiny tags set!  They are perfect for those times when I almost complete a card and wonder where in the world I am going to fit in the sentiment.  Do any of you create that way?  Just kind of go with it as it comes to you?  I can rarely plan my cards out in advance!  Right Laurie?

I wanted to show you a closeup of these little beady things.  I've seen these in the stores...for lots of money too!  No way am I going to spend that much money on them when I can make them myself...well, sort of make them myself.  I found these in the wedding aisle at Hobby Lobby one day.   Everything was 50% off and I was looking to see what I could find for cards.  I came across these.  You get 6 or so strands of them (this is only 1 strand) and they were $2.49 for the whole pack I think and then 50% off of that!  That's a bargain!  Each of the beads were white but I took a copic marker that matched the color theme I was using, in this case Raspberry Fizz, and colored the beads I wanted and left the others clear.  Can you imagine how many different colors you could make these in!  I also colored the little pearls on the card as well with my copics to match the beads.

Thank you for stopping by today!! I can't wait to catch back up with your blogs! I enjoy seeing what you have created so much!  Have a great day!

Very clever to color the beads to match! I too, haunt the wedding aisle at HL to find card-making things.
Which Sizzix folder did you use?

I learned so much from you just from this one post: Look in the wedding aisle for bargains on possible embellishments. Color white beads with Copics to match my card colors. Use the Tiny Tags when there's no place to put a sentiment. To top it off, I get to enjoy your beautiful card. BTW, you can post as many rainbow cards as you like. I think they're all wonderful.
