Tangled Christmas Tree Lights

Earlier this week I shared a Fall card, now I'm moving on to Christmas!  If you have ever put up Christmas lights we can probably all relate to having strands of tangled lights right?  The main image die I used on this card, from Frantic Stamper, is called Tangled Lights Card Panel.

I die cut the Tangled Lights Card Panel out of white cardstock and then colored the light bulbs with Copics. I added a white line to each with a white gel pen.  

I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Angel Stamp Set in black on vellum and then embossed it with Wanderlust Embossing Powder to get a sparkly look.  I wrapped the vellum slightly around the die cut panel to attach it.  I popped up the entire die cut panel to a white card base that I had stamped in black with the Scribble Plaid Maker Stamp Set.  I have to be honest and say this is one of my favorite background stamps ever!

Glad We're Friends Fall Pumpkins

I wanted to get at least one more Fall card in here before I completely move into the Christmas/Winter season!  Time is going so quickly, it's crazy!

This was a pretty simple card to put together.  I started by stamping the pumpkins from the Hey Pumpkin Stamp Set in VersaMark ink.  I then heat embossed them with fine white embossing powder and die cut with the coordinating Hey Pumpkin Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the same set with Lime Rickey Ink on a piece of Kraft cardstock I had diecut with the Stitched Squares Dies.  The pumpkins are popped up with foam tape on the panel.

For the background I die the Kraft cardstock with the Narrow Stripe Cover Plate Die and then backed it with a piece of green paper I had in my stash.  I added some sequins from the Crater Lake Sequins Mix that I use all of the time!
