So Will I...⭐🌟

I love the song "So Will I" which is playing on several of the radio stations I listen to.  If you're interested I'll share the lyric video below.  This song inspired a card using the latest release by Catherine Pooler.  It was actually the very first card I made with these products but I've waited to share it until now. 

I love playing with the Build a Snowman Stamp set!  And if you haven't heard yet there are now coordinating Snowman dies for the Snowman bodies now too!!  I can't wait to get mine!  They were so popular they sold out quickly but there will be more available soon. 

   
I stamped the sweet snowmen and their accessories in Hot Tub, Sangria, Orange Peel & Pink Champagne inks (all new) and then hand cut out the bodies. I die cut the accessories with the Build a Snowman dies.  I tried to make it look like the snowmen were lifting their hands in praise and worship.  

For the background I created the snow with the Pop Art Stencil and some texture paste with glitter mixed in.  I die cut the hills using the Winterhaven dies and then used some Scor-Tape on the edges of the hills for a strong adhesive and sprinkled more glitter on top.  Before I cut the hills I used my computer to print the sentiment (in retrospect I wish I would have moved the sentiment down a little).

I have to say that this is my favorite card from the entire release!  Isn't it interesting how a card can evoke so many emotions and feelings?  But truly, if the stars were made to worship than so will I!

Christmas Joy in Shimmer Watercolor

It's hard to believe but Christmas is quickly approaching and so today I'm sharing a Christmas card. 

I started by embossing the Peace, Love & Doves Background Stamp with Brutus Monroe Gilded Gold Embossing Powder on to Midnight cardstock.  I then colored in the details with the Gansai Tambi Starry Night colors and my detail water brush. The shimmer from the paints is so pretty on the black!

Here is a closeup of the painting.  For the dove, I added some shimmer from a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter pen.  

To create the sentiment panel, I die cut two of the Nested Label Dies, one in Midnight and one from gold cardstock.  I I stamped and embossed the sentiment and decoration from the Seasonal Sentiments & Borders stamp set.   I popped the sentiment up with dimensional tape.

Wishing You a Flurry of Fun

Have you checked out the new Catherine Pooler Release including the four new ink colors!  Squeal! :)  One of my favorite sets in the new release is the Build a Snowman stamp set!  I wanted to use this set a little differently than intended so I came up with this card using other new products.

I stamped the sentiment from the Build a Snowman stamp set on a piece of white cardstock die cut with the Tags, Etc dies.  Then I added the fun showman pieces in using Pink Champagne & Orange Peel ink.  For the background I blended Pink Champagne, Sangria & Hot Tub inks onto white cardstock.  I die cut the Throwing Confetti Cover Plate die and placed it on top of my blended background.  I die cut the Snowflake Trio dies, dipped them each in Versamark ink and then embossed them with Wanderlust Embossing Powder.  I added a sequin from the Cincinnati Sequin Mix on top of each snowflake.
