Sending Hugs

Hello!  Today I have a card to share using my favorite die from the latest Frantic Stamper release, Vacation at the Beach.

I love these new Stitched Daisy dies!  There are 2 of them in the set and the one that I used cuts and stitches directly into your cardstock.  For this card, I chose to paper piece the petals and center back in but it looks really neat leaving those pieces out too!  I used white glitter cardstock for the petals in the top daisy (it was hard to capture on camera).  For the other two daisies I just used regular white cardstock.  

I paired these new dies with a previously released sentiment die set called Accessory Words #3 that has lots of mix & match word dies to create custom sentiments with.

I am adding this to ther Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge to add shimmer!  I added my shimmer in the top daisy using white glitter cardstock.

Summer 2016 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Today I am joining in on the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! I do enjoy a good cup of (very flavored!) coffee!  Yum!

For my card I went with summery colors but with a twist toward a masculine theme.

I started by die cutting my tag which is Lil' Inker Designs Dotted Tags.  I just love this tag set!  The details that those dots add, so pretty! I then die cut the coffee cup, lid & cozy with the Coffee Cozy Die set. 

 I love that the coffee cozy stitches on the top & bottom!  It's all in the details!  The sentiment is from the Lil' Inker Design's Coffee Cozy Stamp Set.

Foiled Seashell

For today's card I went with a sea theme!  I die cut the seagulls with a die from Frantic Stamper called Flying Gulls.  The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.  This paper was perfect for the background and came from the Summer Party Paper Pad from Echo Park.

To create the Scalloped Seashell I used a new technique (to me).  I used some Heidi Swapp Reactive Mist Spray after I die cut the shell and then ran it through my Minc machine.  LOVE!!  I really like the look it gave the seashell!  I attached it with dimensionals.
